Shipping Policy

Every OLVR ring is made to order and shipped fully insured, with signature required, to addresses in Canada and the United States. This policy explains how shipping works from order acceptance through delivery. 

1. Where We Ship 

OLVR ships to physical residential and commercial addresses within Canada and the United States. We do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO, FPO, or DPO addresses. These restrictions are required by our shipping insurance and signature-confirmation protocols, which protect both you and OLVR until the ring is safely delivered. 

Orders submitted with P.O. box or military addresses will be held, and OLVR will contact you to obtain a valid residential or commercial shipping address before production begins. 

2. Shipping Cost 

Standard shipping is provided at no additional charge on every order shipped within Canada and the United States. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Expedited shipping is not offered. 

For orders shipped to the United States, OLVR pays all applicable import duties, customs fees, and U.S. taxes. There are no additional charges at delivery. 

3. Production Time 

Every OLVR ring is handcrafted to order. We do not maintain ready-to-ship inventory. Production begins after your order is accepted and, for bespoke orders, after you have provided written approval of the final specification. 

  • Stock catalogue rings: typically 4 to 6 weeks from order acceptance to shipment. 

  • Bespoke and custom rings: typically 5 to 8 weeks from final specification approval to shipment, depending on complexity. 

Production timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Specific situations such as supply timing on a particular stone, or unusually complex setting work, may add to these estimates. If we anticipate any delay beyond the estimate provided at the time of your order, we will communicate it to you promptly with a revised timeline. 

4. Shipping Method 

All OLVR rings ship via insured, signature-required courier through our partner Jewelers Mutual Shipping Solution. Every shipment is fully insured by OLVR from the moment it leaves our facility until you sign for delivery. 

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your ring is dispatched. Tracking updates are available in real time through the courier’s tracking portal. 

5. Delivery 

Standard transit time after shipment is typically 2 to 5 business days within Canada and the United States, depending on destination. Transit time is in addition to the production time set out in Section 3. 

Delivery requires the signature of an adult at the shipping address. We strongly recommend that you arrange to have someone available to receive the package. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the courier will leave a notice and arrange a redelivery or pickup at a local depot. 

OLVR is not liable for delays caused by courier services, customs processing, weather events, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Estimated delivery dates are estimates and are not guarantees. 

6. Address Accuracy 

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. OLVR is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by the customer. 

If a package is returned to OLVR due to an incorrect address, an unsuccessful delivery, or a refused delivery, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping. We will contact you to confirm the correct address and arrange payment for the reshipment before sending it back out. 

To change a shipping address after an order is placed, contact OLVR at hello@olvrjewelry.com as soon as possible. We will do our best to update the address before the order ships, but cannot guarantee changes once a shipping label has been generated. 

7. Risk of Loss and Damage in Transit 

Every OLVR shipment is fully insured. From the moment the ring leaves our facility until you sign for delivery, OLVR carries the risk of loss or damage in transit. 

Once the courier confirms signature receipt at the shipping address, delivery is complete and risk of loss passes to you. We strongly recommend obtaining jewellery insurance to cover your ring after delivery. Information on jewellery insurance is set out in our Lifetime Warranty. 

If your ring arrives damaged, or if a shipment is lost in transit, contact OLVR immediately at hello@olvrjewelry.com. We will work with our shipping partner to investigate and resolve the situation under the shipment’s insurance. 

8. Discreet Packaging 

Every OLVR ring ships in plain, unbranded outer packaging for security and discretion. The OLVR ring box and presentation materials are inside the outer packaging. Your billing statement will reference "OLVR" only — there is no descriptive product information that could give away the contents of the package. 

9. Holiday and Peak Season 

Production and shipping timelines may extend during peak periods, including the November and December holiday season and Valentine’s Day. We recommend placing orders with significant lead time if a specific delivery date is important. If you are working toward a specific date, contact OLVR at hello@olvrjewelry.com before placing your order and we will confirm whether the timeline is achievable.
